Jose Gonzalez，阿根廷裔瑞典人，民謠唱作新貴

其作品既表現出斯堪地內維亞半島特有的清甜民謠風情

又時不時的流露出隱性的西班牙式熱情。

第一次聽Jose Gonzalez，我就為他那驚為天人的淡定嗓音深深著了迷。

怎麼可能有人擁有這麼動聽的嗓音？

在專輯中，他慣用雙軌人聲。那是一種令人能夠聽出香氣的聲音

就好像剛剛被稀釋的焦糖，帶著餘溫，呈現出誘人的色澤以及流動的質感

又像是一整塊圓潤無暇卻又讓人擔心它可能隨時都會碎掉的玻璃

再加上Jose Gonzalez彈的一手行雲流水的古典吉他––古典吉他是其作品中的配樂主角。

有種說法：要看一首歌到底是不是首好歌

就得看當去掉所有零七八碎之後隻用一把原聲吉他彈唱時還好不好聽

這其實跟是不是美女得在卸了妝脫光了之後看還不是一道理，它在大多數時間都是沒法成立的

就Jose Gonzalez的音樂來說，它從出現到現在始終是一個樣的

一個人聲一把尼龍吉他，從不存在矯飾的問題，沒人能懷疑它的天生麗質

但他這種極簡的配器卻並不僅僅展現出了前面那個說法中一首歌拆解到最後僅剩的骨架

而是足以撐起了整個場面...

Damien Rice...如此深情的嗓音

很難不被感動~~

加拿大詩人歌手 Leonard Cohen 和美國的民謠搖滾詩人 Bob Dylan 有不少共同點

 其次是他們的嗓音都稱不上美聲，因此兩人有很多經典作品，都是被人翻唱後才大受歡迎。

" Hallelujah 哈利路亞 "就是 Leonard Cohen 一首被很多人翻唱過的作品

而這首歌在定稿之前，李歐納柯罕和巴布狄倫兩人還曾就歌詞交換意見。

" Hallelujah 哈利路亞 "原本收錄在李歐納柯罕 1985 年的專輯「Various Positions」

歌詞中提到不少聖經裡的典故，尤其是多位壞女人的原型

李歐納柯罕表示，" 哈利路亞 "原是希伯萊語，意思是「榮耀上帝」

對他而言，人類行為中不論是正面或是負面的，都可以解釋為榮耀上帝，進而堅定他的信仰。
　
這首歌推出後被許多歌手慧眼相中翻唱

英年早逝的歌手 Jeff Buckley 在演唱會結束前都會選唱這首曲子

演唱時，全場一片靜默，這首歌也收錄在他的專輯Grace(1994年發行)。


2001年的動畫" Shrek 史瑞克 "裡面出現過這首歌

影片中出現的是由 John Cale 演唱

電影原聲帶裡面卻是加拿大歌手 Rufus Wainwright 路福斯溫萊特的版本

他曾在電影「I am Sam 他不笨，他是我爸爸」中翻唱披頭四的" Across the universe "

是位嗓音極有特色、值得期待的年輕歌手

2005年由尼可拉斯凱吉主演的電影「Lord of the war 軍火之王」，片尾也曾出現這首曲子。

一個出現在Damien Rice的首張專輯《O》中伴唱的女孩

這個曾經在damian rice身後安靜點綴的女聲

偶爾擔任電吉他或者伴奏貝司，甚至鼓手

即使是damien rice也掩蓋不了她的光芒，人們如是說

2007年3月，Damien Rice 宣布合聲Lisa Hannigan正式退出他的樂隊

並稱他們的合作走過了一段創造性的旅程

當這個愛爾蘭女孩順著大提琴開唱

或是幹凈純美的高音，或是神經質般的顫音

的確美的令人心醉...
